In the late 90’s, Tiger Woods took the world by storm as one of the world’s most elite athletes. During the peak of his climb, Woods earned an endorsement worth $40 million by Nike in 1996.
After dominating the Masters in 1997, Tiger helped bring Nike’s Golf brand to the top. Sporting his signature red Nike polo, black hat, and black golf pants, he sealed the tournament with an exciting 12-stroke lead.
