90s Cartoon Characters - Digital Art by Robinson Cursor

No Mama! I’m too old for the tiny pants!

With each passing year, the decade that brought us Theodore Rex gets further away from us.

The oldest of the Millenials gaining majority control of mainstream culture, which means nostalgia for the 1990s is at an all-time high. Everything from 90s toys and games to 90s cartoon characters are all the rage in fashion and home decor.

Today’s youth may have no idea why it’s so fun to shout “CARTOON CARTOON!” or mispronounce “LaBORAtory,” but us aging Millenials do. And we’re the ones who print the magazines, dammit!

Now, I know you may be asking yourself, “What’s a magazine?” They’re like if you printed all the pages of a website out, stapled them together, and charged people 12 bucks.

It may sound like a ripoff, but at least we got to look at JTT’s pearly whites in “100% cool color!”

The sad fact is that we Millenials are not the young generation we once were, and these beautifully designed digital art pieces by Robinson Cursor really drive that point home. 90s cartoon characters displayed as abandoned neon signage, while also gorgeous from a design perspective, brilliantly demonstrates the passage of time.

The neon isn’t lighting. The metal is rusted. The paint is worn off, and the structures are cracked and broken. Like the youthfulness of Millenials, these 90s cartoon characters have become antiquated signs of an older time.

Before I start crying, let’s take a closer look at these astounding digital art designs by Robinson Cursor.

Man, those abandoned neon signage designs really had everything, didn’t they?

Sugar. Spice. And everything nice.  Those were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect 90s cartoon character digital art.

But Robinson Cursor accidentally added an EXTRA INGREDIENT to the concoction….CHEMICAL X!
